Diesel Mechanic/Service Technician

Job description:
Diesel mechanic technician for Kubota and agriculture equipment. Responsible for implementing a basic diagnosis and marketing repairs on agriculture implements. Perform assembly, maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Performs basic diagnostics and repairs on agricultural machinery and Kubota equipment
- Participates in Service Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge
- Reviews and explains any maintenance, repair, or other service concerns and documents on work order
- Learns/Maintains current knowledge of Kubota and competitive products
- Maintains a clean work area and condition of tools and equipment
- Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
- Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- 4 years of experience performing service repairs preferred
- Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures
- Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems and HVAC used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment
- Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
- Proficient oral and written communication skills
- Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly
- Basic Service Technician certification preferred
- Personal tools including electronic diagnostic equipment is needed
- High School Diploma
- Trade school or other forms of training, and diagnostic skills and/or prior experience with ag equipment or diesel engines is a plus
- Valid driver’s license is required and good driving record
- Must have reliable attendance
- Ability to use basic computer functions
